Sing your life. All the things that you love. And all the things that you loathe.

Karaoke 95 is an experimental narrative exercise loosely based on the avant-garde film movement Dogme 95. Videos are shot in 1 day with natural light, hand-held cameras, 1 battery, 1 memory card and post-production edits are limited to a 10 hour day. The videos premiered at Winnie’s Bar on Bayard Street and remained in their eclectic karaoke library until Winnie’s closed in 2015. A collaboration with the photographer Ben Rayner resulted in the book “Organized By Title.” The final public performance was at Red Bull Arts New York “Karaoke Night” curated by Chris Rice and Joe Kay.
